Ingredients:

  • 500g ground lamb (preferably with some fat)
  • 1 small onion, finely grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Flat metal skewers(optional wood)

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, combine ground lamb, grated onion, garlic, red pepper flakes, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated.
  3. Shape the mixture around flat metal skewers, pressing firmly to adhere.
  4. Preheat the grill or barbecue to medium-high heat.
  5. Grill the kebabs for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked through and nicely charred on the outside.
  6. Serve hot with grilled vegetables, fresh herbs, and flatbread or rice.
