Ingredients :

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1 teaspoon instant yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 200g ground lamb or beef
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 1/2 bunch parsley, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions :

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, yeast, salt, and warm water to make a soft dough. Knead well and let it rise for about 1 hour.
  2. In another bowl, combine ground meat, onion, tomatoes, parsley, garlic, tomato paste, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Preheat oven to 220°C (428°F).
  4. Divide the dough into small balls, roll each ball into a thin circle on a floured surface.
  5. Spread the meat mixture evenly over each dough circle.
  6. Bake on a hot baking tray or pizza stone for 8-10 minutes until crispy and cooked through.
  7. Serve hot with lemon wedges.
